The appearance of hair on the upper lip is annoying for women and many will resort to shaving it off every so often. However, according to bhits, an online portal, some home remedies can be of assistance.
Mix three tablespoons of sugar, one tablespoon of lemon juice and water. Heat the mixture in a sauce pan over a low fire and keep stirring until it turns into a thick paste. When it cools, apply on the hair using a dry cloth pulling it in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Putting some ice cubes on the area will help tighten the skin pore.
Turmeric and milk
Mix some turmeric powder with milk or water to form a thick paste and apply this on the hair. Wait for the paste to dry and massage it away using your finger tips.
Lemon, sugar and water
Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice, sugar and water to form a thick paste. Apply the paste on the hair and leave it on for 15 minutes before washing off with cold water. Use this regularly for results.
Egg white, corn flour and sugar
Mix an egg white with one teaspoon of corn flour and sugar to form a paste. Apply it on the hair, let it dry and gently peel it off. This can be done thrice a week.
Gram flour works well to remove unwanted hair. Take some gram flour and mix it with turmeric and a little water to form a paste. To this, add some fresh cream or yoghurt then apply this onto your upper lip and wait for it to dry.
